With the pending forecast for the remainder of the week and to potentially reduce the number of onsite days that have impacted Cohort B students, only SAU 29 schools currently in the hybrid model will shift days this Thursday and Friday. The schedule for the remainder of the week will look as follows:
This shift will help minimize the impact of onsite time lost for Cohort B students in anticipation of the forecasted weather event currently projected for Friday. It will also enable us to have one more onsite day for these students prior to the winter break. Additionally, we are also working on identifying other onsite opportunities for Cohort B students after we return from the break and will communicate that to all families as well, as plans become finalized.
The schools that are affected by this shift are:
Keene High School
Keene Middle School
Perkins Academy - (grades 1&2 and 5&6 only)
You will receive additional information from your child(ren)’s school regarding this shift.
The following schools will continue to follow their currently implemented onsite model and are NOT impacted by this shift:
We recognize that this may present some difficulties for families with this shift and apologize for any inconveniences that may result. However, we strongly believe that getting our students that have only had two onsite days this month, live for in person teaching and learning (in comparison to the five that Cohort A have had), is important prior to the break. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter.
